DEAR NANNY APPLICANTS:

Thank you for your interest in NEIGHBORHOOD NANNIES, the oldest Nanny Referral Agency in New Jersey. We have a large number of great families who rely on us to introduce them to experienced, trustworthy, nurturing nannies who will ensure the safety and well-being of their children.

We are always looking for qualified nannies to provide EXCEPTIONAL, professional childcare on a full-time, part-time, or occasional basis. NEIGHBORHOOD NANNIES is not just interested in finding workers, we are seeking the VERY BEST in the nanny industry. We are looking for childcare providers with motivation, skills, and drive. All of our nannies MUST be loving, energetic, patient and creative. If you are a person like this, someone who is the BEST at what you do, and you have the NANNY QUALIFICATIONS listed below please contact us at 866-319-3964 since we would be happy to discuss our nanny positions with you. You may complete the NANNY APPLICATION on-line and submit it or you may down-load it and mail it to NEIGHBORHOOD NANNIES at 5 North Haddon Ave, Haddonfield, N.J. 08033. ALL NANNY APPLICANTS MUST:

Nanny

  1. Be at least 18 years old with a minimum of a high school diploma.
  2. Be able to work legally in the U.S.
  3. Have recent, verifiable childcare experience outside of your own family.
  4. Submit completed NANNY APPLICATION along with professional childcare, and personal references.
  5. Meet with us personally in our Haddonfield, N.J. office.
  6. Sign to allow NEIGHBORHOOD NANNIES to perform a thorough background check, including:
    1. a. Criminal Background Check
    2. b. Sexual Offender Check
    3. c. Motor Vehicle Driving Record Check
    4. d. Social Security Verification
    5. e. Credit Check
  7. Agree to submit to a medical exam and drug screen if requested and paid for by the family.
  8. Be a non-smoker.
  9. Have a current drivers license and own car.
  10. Agree that if you are not current in Infant and Child CPR you will become current in the next available class.
  11. Be willing and able to make a minimum of a one year commitment if you are looking for a permanent position.
  12. Sign a Nanny/Agency Agreement before being sent on any interviews or jobs.

Please understand that completion of the application process does not guarantee that we will be able to refer you for work.
