In order to identify these special candidates, as part of our Agency Services we carefully screen all applicants.
All nanny candidates must be adult American citizens who have warm, responsive personalities. We meet each applicant personally and they submit an extensive application which includes their past and current work history. ALL NANNY CANDIDATES MUST:
1. Have a minimum of a High School Diploma. Most of our nannies have some college and
many have 4 year degrees in Education, Special Education, etc. We have some nannies
with Masters Degrees in child and health related fields.
2. Provide verifiable childcare experience in the form of previous nanny experience, teaching
experience, nursery school, pediatrics, home day care, etc.
3. Submit recent childcare related references and personal (non relative) references. All
references are contacted to verify the applicants childcare skills, integrity, honesty,
patience, attitude, reliability, decision making ability, creativity, overall performance, why
they left the job and whether they would be re-hired.
4. Sign a consent form for a thorough background search, including:
a. NATIONWIDE CRIMINAL RECORDS CHECK
b. SEX OFFENDER RECORDS CHECK
c. SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER VERIFICATION
d. DRIVING HISTORY MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD CHECK
e. CREDIT CHECK
5. Agree to a medical exam and drug screen if requested and paid for by the family
6. Agree that if they are not current in Infant and Child CPR that they will enroll in the next available class.
